Renewal Period for: OHV (Off Highway Vehicles, Snows, ATV, ORV, Off road motor cycles. Begins September 1-December 31 on a yearly basis.
Renewal Fee is $20.50 when mailing it in to Calhoun County Recorder, 416 4th St, Ste 3, Rockwell City, IA 50579. Add $5.00 late fee if after December 31st.
The Calhoun County Recorder's Office issues ATV, ORV, boat and snowmobile registrations, titles and liens on titles. If you need assistance or have any questions, call 712-297-8121.
The Recorder's Office collects Sales Tax on all casual sales of ATVs, ORVs, Boats and Snowmobiles. As with all sales, the transactions require a Bill of Sale.
